Toyotama Hime Tassel and Shells Dangle Earrings

Toyotama Hime is the daughter of the Sea God, Watatsumi, in Japanese mythology, and known as the paternal grandmother of the first emperor of Japan. She married a hunter named Hoori who found his way to the underwater palace, Ryuuguu after losing his fishing hook. They were happily married for a while but when she was preparing for her childbirth delivery, she warned her husband not to peek at her real form. He broke the promise and walked in on her eight-legged dragon form, and feeling betrayed by him, she left behind her son and closed the path between sea and land forever.

These dangle earrings are highlighted with mini trumpet shells, inspired by her oceanic nature. The overall design is crafted to complement the Toyotama Florals and Shells Hair Piece.
