Demoness is an online gift shop inspired by the paranormal world of Japanese supernatural folklore, especially Yokai. We design our jewelry, accessories and gifts based on our creative interpretations of folklore characters, and glamorize the designs to a more modern style while retaining a cursed-like aesthetic.
Our Concept
We are a brand that is built on character design, storytelling and worldbuilding. We take the tales of supernatural beings, creatures and gods from Japanese folktales and myths and form our story, design, and product around it. Each design is carefully crafted to bring our vision to life.
We want our audience to immerse deeper into the world we’ve created, similar to reading a book or manga, so with each featured character, there will be an information card, and a short animation.
